To make students understand the entrepreneurial attitude and skills
To provide them with a platform which gives them a number of innovative opportunities to truly bring out the entrepreneur in them
Like Walt Disney has said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”
Even though E-cell has recently begun operating on the 1st of November, 2018, it has already organised successful events and is currently planning for more.
Startify was the first event that was organised. It was an opportunity for everyone to interact with influencers, foundersand CEOs to overcome their fears and clear their doubts about what lies ahead of their startup session. ENIGMA, the competition involving two rounds: Bid with Wit and Damage Control, was held thereafter. The event had a footfall of 200+ enthusiastic students who helped make this event successful.
A workshop on 'Intellectual property rights and Entrepreneurship' is scheduled to be jointly conducted by Research and IPR Cell and Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technological Development in which esteemed managers and professors would talk about filing patents and entrepreneurship. The talk would then lead to an interactive session between the audience and professionals to clear all their doubts.
Moreover, a B-plan competition would also be conducted in April exclusively for the students of Ram Lal Anand College, Delhi University. The participants would present their start-up ideas and would be judged by a panel of judges, consisting various professionals. Through a series of competitive rounds, the most enticing ideas would win the competition. The winners would be provided mentorship, funding and adequate guidance to launch their start-ups.
In addition to this, a brain storming session is conducted every few days to come up with more and more ideas about how to make this cell more profound and efficient.
